Welcome!
What to Expect When You Visit
We know visiting a new church can feel a little overwhelming, so we want to help you feel at home from the start. Here’s what you can expect when you join us for a service:
What to Wear
Come as you are! Our church family includes people in everything from jeans and t-shirts to business casual attire. There’s no dress code, wear whatever makes you feel comfortable within reason and modesty.
Service Structure
Our services are designed to be Christ-centered and liturgical. So they are structured but with a cone as you are vibe. Here’s a general outline of what to expect:
Welcome: We’ll start with a friendly greeting.
Call to worship: This includes prayer and a reading from the Pslams.
Worship Through Music: We’ll sing a mix of contemporary songs and timeless hymns, focusing on glorifying God.
Scripture reading: We emphizise reading the Old testament and the New testament apart from our sermons.
Prayer: Together, we’ll lift our hearts to God in prayer.
Biblical Teaching: One of our Elder/pastors will deliver a sermon rooted in Scripture, designed to encourage, challenge, and equip.
Closing Song and Prayer: We’ll wrap up with a song and prayer before being sent out to live as lights in our community.
Worshiping Together as a Family
We value being a unified body, so our services are designed to include all ages. From the youngest to the oldest, we worship, learn, and grow together as a family so bring your fidgets.
We know it can be hard for little ones or others to sit still for long periods, so feel free to bring your fidgets or other quiet items that help you focus, no electronics please. We also kindly ask that you be mindful of those around you, as some may be sensitive to certain sounds, so silent fidgets only please.
Lords Supper
In the event you choose to visit during a Lords Supper service, please get with an elder before the service if one has not spoken with you and or approved any guests of the taking of the Lords Supper; as we practice what is called closed communion. This is explained by our leadership at the time of taking Lords Supper.
After the Service
Stick around! We’d love to meet you and answer any questions you have. Coffee and conversation are always available after the service.
We’re so glad you’re considering visiting us. Whether it’s your first time or your first time in a while, you’re welcome here. We can’t wait to meet you!
